I'd love to say that I picked up a camera when I was 5 years old and never looked back, but I'd be lying.

In fact, I'm a relative late-comer to the world of film and photography, having only launched my business in 2018, when I was already 28 years old.

I was introduced to photography and broadcast media whilst reading for an honours degree in communications at the University of Malta - I instantly fell head over heels in love with Audio, Video, Photography, Marketing, and journalism.
 
My main focus during this time was on audiovisual production culminating in a technical dissertation about Binaural 3D sound combined with video.

For a number of years, I worked in video journalism, sales, marketing, and branding while enrolling in every course I could to continue to refine my craft. 

After 10 years of investing time, effort and money, Ricky Bugeja Studios are now in full swing. We are a bespoke,  boutique production house focusing on quality over quantity.
